Deleting your data

How to ask

Send us a message from the same Facebook, Instagram, Telegram or LINE account you used for your reading, saying you want your data deleted. Or email info@catmaxtarot.com and tell us which platform and account name you used, so we can find your records.

Asking from the account itself is the quickest route, because that account identifier is what your records are stored against.

If you have linked your messaging channels together, tell us so, and say whether you want just that one channel deleted or everything we hold for you.

What gets deleted

• Your messaging account identifier and display name.
• Everything you wrote to us: your situation, and your follow-up answer.
• Your readings, including the cards drawn and the text you were sent.
• The emotional summaries derived from your readings.
• Any unused code you were given for linking your messaging channels.

Once deleted, a future reading on the channel you asked about will have no memory of your earlier ones.

What we cannot delete

The messages themselves remain in your own chat history on Facebook, Instagram, Telegram or LINE, because that conversation belongs to your account on that platform. Delete the conversation there if you want it gone.

If you linked two messaging accounts together, we also keep a record that the link happened, when it happened, and which accounts it joined. We keep this so a link made in error can be undone, and it survives a deletion request.

How long it takes

We will confirm and complete deletion within 30 days of your request, including from any backup copies held at the time you asked.
